The Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage releases a new video about the joint learning approach
The Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage (JLN) released a video on Monday, October 22, 2012 to educate people about the network and its impact on practitioners and policymakers that participate in joint learning activities.
The JLN is a network of policymakers and practitioners from Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mali, Nigeria, the Philippines, Rwanda, Thailand, and Vietnam that learn from one another, jointly problem-solve, and collectively produce and use new knowledge, tools, and innovative approaches to accelerate country progress towards universal health coverage.

I look forward to learning
I look forward to learning more and following developments of the JLN for Universal Health Coverage. The video talks exclusively about financial access to health care. Whenever we talk about UHC we must talk not only about access but also about quality of health care. To ensure quality of health care we must focus on meeting the basic needs of healthcare providers to deliver such care: Skills, Equipment, Information, Structural support, Medicines, Incentives (including a decent salary) and Communication facilities (including the right to participate in decision-making).
