Annette Ozaltin
Senior Program Officer, Results for Development Institute
Annette has over 10 years of work experience in global health policy and health systems. At R4D, she focuses on tool development and technical assistance to countries on health financing. She contributes to the Health Finance and Governance Project (HFG) and Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage (JLN). For the former project, she is collaborating with the Haiti Ministry of Health on the development of a health financing strategy. For the latter project, she is writing a costing manual to inform provider payment and piloting a performance dashboard for use with health insurance schemes.
Prior to joining R4D, Annette was based in Cambodia, working for University Research Co. (URC) on health services costing studies and provider payment policy development. Prior to her work in Cambodia, she was a management consultant with Deloitte, focusing on health reform policy analysis and strategic planning with payers and providers. She also worked on global health policy and programming at the Kaiser Family Foundation and Academy for Educational Development (now FHI 360).
Annette holds a Master of Science (SM) degree from the Harvard School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Virginia.
